Camping
The campsite at Skogafoss is right by the waterfall! You could not ask for a more beautiful location for camping, but the facilities are basic.
There’s a parking area for campervans and vans, and a grassy area to the right of the waterfall for tent camping. You can even set up your tent with a view of Skogafoss!

The campground at Skogafoss is open year round. Reservations are not necessary: you can just show up and camp here, allowing for a more flexible itinerary.

Skogafoss Campsite Facilities
There is a hut with showers (hot and cold water) and toilets, waste disposal, electricity, and a cafe at the parking lot.
Note that there are only two toilets and two showers, and there may be several dozen people camping here at one time.

Showers are operated using a coin machine, currently ISK 400 for a 5-minute shower. Rates for camping at Skogafoss change, so get the current rates before you visit.
The Skogafoss campsite is great if you just want to spend one night by a beautiful waterfall, but do not need to cook or do laundry.
For longer stays and superior facilities, the campsite in Vik would be a better option.
