From Reykjavik Center, take Route 49 (Miklalbraut / Nesbraut) for 4.1 kilometers (about 2.5 miles) to Route 1 South, also called Hringvegur or Ring Road.

Drive on Route 1 South to Skógar / Skógavegur in Rangárþing eystra (approximately 151 kilometers, 93.82 miles).

Make a left onto Skógar / Skógavegur and a left onto Skógafoss to drive to the parking lot at Skogafoss (1.4 kilometers, 0.87 mile).

Driving Directions to Skogafoss from Vik

From Vik, take Route 1, also called Hringvegur or Ring Road to Skógar / Skógavegur in Rangárþing eystra (approximately 32.8 kilometers, 20.38 miles).

Make a right onto Skógar / Skógavegur and a left onto Skógafoss to drive to the parking lot at Skogafoss (about 1.4 kilometers, 0.87 mile).
